The Lowcountry Distinction in Vacation Rental Management

Michael Long, Founder and General Manager, has been building a reputation on the Isle of Palms since 1991 by providing exceptional customer service to vacationing families, activism within the community, and professional support to property owners who have entrusted their homes to his care.  Over the past three decades, he has been driven to deliver remarkable experiences to guests and partnering with owners of exceptional homes to administer the highest standards of vacation rental management services.  Through his genuine concern for guests, owners and the community, Michael’s congenial disposition and commitment to communications has been the foundation of his successful career in hospitality in Charleston.

Like real estate, to be truly engaged with the guests, owners and community family vacation rental management is local, not national.  In launching Lowcountry Vacation Properties, Michael’s goal is to bring to the Isle Of Palms a family owned and operated family vacation rental option where the entire team is local.  Lowcountry Vacation Properties operations are situated just minutes from each vacation home on the Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island, so that we can best serve our guests and homeowner partners.  We believe that “bigger is not better, better is better”.  Each team member is committed to provide a better experience for family vacationers, better protection of this community, and better care of our property owner partners homes that only a “local” company can provide.

Charleston is our home at Lowcountry Vacation Properties.  Each of us know how fortunate we are to live in a City and Island where families across the country desire to be, making Charleston the best small city in the United States 11 of the past 12 years by Conde Nast Traveler readers.  By providing exceptional family vacations and outstanding care to the homes we have been entrusted to manage, it is Lowcountry Vacation Properties goal to show all that bigger is not better, better is better.
